Kathryn Transitional Damask Area Rug

I'm not one to put a lot of thought into rugs but it became apparent that I really needed one in my den. I wanted two things: Something that looked decent and something that wasn't going to wear and deteriorate immediately. So far, this little guy does the trick on both. I really like the design. It's not so "out there" that it stands out too much, but it's a very pleasant design and well implemented in the fabrication of the item itself. It does seem well made so I'm not worried about it shredding in 6 months of normal use. I'm not going to be putting it through anything grueling so it should hold up well. Yet to see how it will handle a good washing in a month or so, but we shall see! Overall I'm a fan of this item and would definitely get more for around the house.

This is a fine floor mat for an area maybe you don’t care so much about, like a mud room or something. I don’t think the materials are all that natural based on the sheen of it. It’s soft under foot but it just seems unnatural. The design, or pattern, just looks a little weird with a sloppy scattered look. Maybe it’s just not my taste and would perhaps be somebody else’s taste. It looks better in the picture online.

It’s very affordable compared to its competitors, it matches with just about any decor/color scheme, and it magically hides stains even though it’s a light color. How it does all of these things, I don’t know. But I am willing to go on the record and say this is the unicorn of small area rugs!

The only thing I can say bad is that its shipped wrapped so tight that a week later it still has curled up edges. I wish It would lay flat. Other than that, the material is high quality and it looks great at my front door.
